Quick Summary
If you're selling goods on online platforms like Amazon or Flipkart, you'll need to follow specific GST procedures. Compulsory GST registration is required if you're not already registered. These platforms will deduct Tax Collected at Source (TCS) at 1%, which you can then claim against your tax liability. Filing your returns remains the same as offline trade, but you cannot register under the composition scheme for these online sales.

A trader is required to get Compulsory registration under GST to be able to sell on these platforms like On Amazon Flipkart ect., if not already Registered.

Amazon, flipkart is required to deduct TCS at rate of 1% of total sale price from the amount payable to you. This TCS can be claimed by online sellers. Such TCS is shown in the TCS statement, it is required to match the sales shown in this statement with actual sales and accept the TCS. Then the TCS amount gets added to the cash ledger of the person. and you use that for payment of your tax liability.

There is no changes in filing in return , It's same as like you filing under offline Trade through shop/factory/Gowdown ect.
Can he registar under composition scheme
No, He can not register under Composition scheme as per Section 10(2)(d).
