Spread out your studying:

 

  • Study in sessions that are short enough so that you can maintain your concentration.
  • Spread your studies out over as many days as possible so that your memory stays fresh.


Find a place to study where you won't be disturbed:

 

  • Any outside distraction will reduce your retention.
  • Try to find a place where you will be comfortable, but alert.


Get plenty of sleep:

  • Your body needs sleep to revive its energy.
  • If you are having trouble sleeping, try adding more exercise to your daily routine.
  • Try not drink any beverages that contain caffeine after 6:00 pm at night.
  • Remember that the race rarely goes to the swift, but rather to the one with perseverance.
