can 80g deductions be claimed on behalf of donations given by spouse

No. Only donor can claim it.
Further if say 10000 is given as donation and 5000 is shown in the return under 100% donation given to a temple.. Den in response to notice can we show receipts of 10000 to claim 50% accordingly? Kindly clarify the query
