Yes. Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) has been notified by Central Govt. for NPS Scheme.
NPS is applicable to all new employees of Central government services (except armed forces) and Central autonomous bodies joining government services on or after 1st January 2004. Although, For State governments, State atonomous bodies and Corporates, the dates may vary.
