Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies concerns about potential future income escapement for businesses opting for presumptive taxation under Section 44AD. If your business turnover is below ₹2 crore and you declare income at 8% or more, you are generally not liable for future income escapement as you've complied with legal provisions. While this section is designed to simplify tax for eligible businesses, it's still advisable to maintain a profit rate consistent with industry standards.
