Made 26QB TDS e-payment on subsequent date through SBI net-banking.
Proper and correct amount, major & minor heads, AY, PAN are reflecting in TIN, OLTAS.
In 26QB acknowledgement, it says:
"As communicated by Income Tax Department, TDS certificate (Form 16B) will be available for download from the TRACES website after atleast 2 days of deposit of tax amount at the respective Bank"
More than 2 days are over but it's still not showing up on 26AS.
Talked to CPC (TDS) on their helpline no. 1800 103 0344,... the support guy says that it will take 10-15 days to reflect in 26AS !!!
And only after that Form 16B can be generated !!!
IS THIS TRUE?
