Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a user's concern about discrepancies between their Form 26AS and AIS regarding interest earned on fixed deposits and savings accounts. While 26AS shows interest from fixed deposits, AIS includes additional entries for savings account interest. The advice provided clarifies that savings account interest above £10,000 is taxable, and Section 80TTA may offer relief, suggesting no significant risk for the user.

No issues, only saving bank interest above 10000 is taxable
Thank you very much Sir,
Sec 80 TTA IS THERE
