Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the tax implications for an individual earning £90,000 in insurance commission under Section 194D. The user is seeking advice on whether to declare this income in ITR 4 or if ITR 3 would be more appropriate, considering the TDS deducted was only £4,500. The conversation touches upon the theoretical debate of declaring such income in ITR 4 and the potential need for an audit based on aggregate turnover and profit margins.

How much TDS deducted?

Only 4500

Technically possible; but theoretically debatable.

Then it would be better , i will file itr 3. i guess audit will not be required in this case. And also thanks a lot for your prompt and valuable feedback.

That would be error free. For audit liability total turnover (aggregate for all the businesses) needs to be checked, along with profit margin & opting out of sec. 44AD, if any.
