YES YOU CAN CONVERT VOLUNTARILY INTO NEW COURSE BY PAYING SOME FEES
BUT I SUGGEST YOU SHOULD NOT CONVERT AS IT WILL NOT BE BENEFICIAL.

If you have already done few subjects under old Syllabus then starting new is not advisable. But if we are starting after then we should go for new syllabus
