Hello Everyone,

How to submit application u/s 119(2)(b) for condonation of late filing of return. Whether it can be filed on efiling portal. If not is it possible to send it by post. Or it need to be submited manually in inward section.

It's directly to Income Tax Office or Post...

through online also it can be filed or to your jurisdictional CIT manually

login to e-filing portal. IN my account option select service request. IN service request choose new request and in request category select condonation request

That condonation request is only for those who have failed to send acknowledgement ITR V within 120 days from date of submission. My question pertains to sec 119(2)(b) who have not filed return within maximum permissible time limit
