₹2 lakhs or more deposit information in ITR

ITR 391 views 4 replies
Please clarify, that the amount of cash deposited from 09.11.16 to 30.12.16 to be reported in the ITRs is to be mentioned for each bank account separately or to be reported if total deposits in various accounts exceeds ₹ 2 lakhs

For eg, If one deposits Rs 50000 each in ten different accounts, is he required to disclose these details in the ITR form.

When the aggregate amount exceeds the specified limit in all the accounts (not each)

who they deposit 2 lakh in one time. That person also required to file ITR?
@ Rambhia Sir, so in above example, person needs to disclose this information as amount is Rs 5 lakhs (exceeding threshold limit of Rs 2 lakhs)??
