hello sir, sorry to bother you but i needed an expert advice and thought you will be able to help me in this. I needed your advice on my exam preparation. I quit studies in 2006 and started again 7 months after having a baby who is now 2 year old.I did self study and got help from few library friends.I stay in dubai.so i went to mumbai at my mothers place fr 7 months and gave my group 1 and cleared this nov 12. Now i m planning to give in may 13. I have started studies this month after my baby joined daycare; since i was not in touch with OR and taxation much; i am worried thorough studies will take time. Also i am waiting fr my DT & IDT books delivery from ahmedabad. We dont have books available in dubai. Previously i loved tax but since dubai is tax-free i am way out of touch with taxation laws in india. Please suggest if three months time is enough for self studies or should i join classes (by ca chapter, dubai) which starts in april and attempt in nov 13. I am tempted to give may 13 attempt but i dont want to just attempt blindly. I have vinod gupta modules fr last AY Please advise. Thanks & regards, Seema purohit simsi.icy@gmail.com

Hello sir am a gradute and registererd with IPCC under Direct scheme....then i registererrd with Artciles by sep 22nd 2012 , I received Acknowledgement letter of fees receipt of Articles but did not get artciles registration letter & ID card till now( I submitted form 103 with blue ink) and i completed my ITT training last week but Orientation batchs are not availablle now,,,My query is 1.Appx. when i ll get my articles registration letter and Id card 2. Is Orientation is mandatory to complete by march 2013 to write xams in may 2013 Please suggest me. Thanks in advance.. sandeep

@ Sangeet kedia is good book and easy to grasp. But if have less time , its good to opt for scanner. You can opt shuchita's scanner if have some days. But if you have less than 15 days to prepare better to go for law point scanner.

I want to start studies for CS executive.I registered long back KIndly tell me should i buy institute study material or sangeeta kedia for GCL,CLaw,E & LL & Sec & lab com,Tax-Bangar,also for com & cost acc which book to purchse. Should i buy scanner from suchita pub or from where? pls tell me urgently since i live on a site location and have no such contacts.

no you have to score 100 out of 200. same 50 % marks, old criteria.Only faculty knows the individual marks.There are just aggregate marks in the mark-sheet. For passing CPT, you can refer P.C.Tulsian for accounts and M.law.For economics you can use I.C.Dhingra.These all books have been used by you in college days. So don't worry at all.Regular practice is necessary. Attend more n more question and make sure you write all your rectified mistakes in another register.So that your probability of doing mistakes is less.And negetive marking can be avoided.
