Realization in INR for discharge of EO under EPCG Scheme

(To be publ ished in the G aze tte of I ndia Extr ao rd in ary P art II Sec tion 3, S ub Sec tion (ii)) Gov ernm ent of India Minis try of Com merce & Industr y D ep artme nt of Co mme rce Directorate General of Foreign Trade Notifi cation No. 06 /2015 -2020 New De lhi, 3rd May , 2016 S ubje ct: Am endment in Para 5.04 (h) of F TP 2015- 2020 S .O.( E) In exe rc ise of th e pow ers con fe rre d by Sec tion 5 of th e Fo re ig n Tra de ( De ve lop ment and R egu la tion) A ct, 1 9 92, as amended, re ad with P ara 1.02 of the Fo re ig n T ra de Pol icy, 2015 -2020, the C entr al Gov ernme nt here b y mak es the following a mendm ents in the F o re ig n T ra de P ol icy (F TP) 2015 -2020 with i mmediate e ffec t: Presently, Para 5.04 (h) of FTP 2015 -20 reads as under: ”5.04 Export Obligation (EO) (h) Payment received in rupee terms for such Services as notified in Appendix 3E shall also be counted towards discharge of export obligation under the EPCG scheme.” After amendment the a mended Para 5.04 (h) of FTP 2015 -2020 shall read as under: ”5.04 Export Obligation (EO) (h) Payment received in rupee terms for such Services as notified in Appendix 5D shall also be counted towards discharge of export obligation under the EPCG scheme.” Effect of this Notification: A new Appendix 5D is being notified containing list of services , payments for which are received in Rupee terms and which are to be counted for fulfilment of Export Obligation under EPCG scheme.
