The Central Bank of India has relaxed Buyers Credit Norms for infrastructure imports under ECB
Salient Points
-Instead of earlier limit of trade credits of period starting 1 years to 3 year, it has now been made to period not less than 15 months;
-the all inclusive costs shall be (350 basis points) 3.5% plus Libor;
-Facility shall be for USD 20 Millions per transaction for import of capital goods.
