I am pursuing CA, having reached the final level. Reaching this stage involved obstacles and failures, but I chose to tackle them. I believe that Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavour.
Apart from gaining theoretical knowledge as a part of the course I have also gained practical knowledge in the process of serving my articleship for about 3.5 years.
Initially it was more of learning and executing the tasks assigned. Here I was more of a team player. The rest of my tenure involved decision making, team leading, training and assisting the higher officials.
Over the span of my articleship I was fortunate to function in various fields of taxation-Income tax, Sales tax, Service tax and TDS. Apart from that, I was also involved in Statutory Audits, Tax Audits and VAT Audits, Scrutiny Assessments, Certification work and Statutory forms.
Gaining knowledge and experience was definitely accomplished as the course was designed, however, apart from that, I took this as an opportunity to explore myself and provide the best of what I have to the organisation.
I have always stayed firm on my convictions of being punctual and organised. This has helped me give my best to the organisation and take the best from it.
