Saket Modi is the Founder and Director of Square Mile Global Consulting (www.smglobal.co.uk), a London-based financial training and consulting company.

Saket specialises in matters relating to international financial reporting and analysis (IFRS/Ind AS/IPSAS), including financial instruments and insurance contracts. He has designed and facilitated courses for organisations from over 50 countries in Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia. This includes banks and similar financial institutions, insurance companies, oil & gas sector, corporates in other sectors, professional services firms, government organisations and professional and educational institutions.

Saket has written material on IFRS for a global accountancy institute based out of the UK and was invited by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board® (IAASB®) to present on IFRS 9 Financial Instruments at their board meeting in New York.

Saket is also a consultant providing advise to businesses on technical accounting and financial reporting matters, and has been associated with Lloyds Bank and Ernst & Young.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, holds IFRS certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and IPSAS diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. In addition, Saket is also a CFA® charterholder.
