FAQ :

Revenue collection in February 2021 breached the Rs. 1 lakh crore level for the fifth consecutive month and showed signs of an upward trajectory.

GST revenue collected in February 2021 stood at approximately Rs. 1.13 lakh crore, which is nearly 7.4% higher than in February 2020.

The newsletter mentioned a large case of fraudulent ITC availment involving fake invoices with a face value of Rs. 3308 crore, uncovered by anti-evasion teams in Jaipur and Alwar using data analytics.

The MoU, signed on 9th February 2021, aims to facilitate automatic and regular sharing of data and information between CBIC and MCA for regulatory purposes, enhancing ease of doing business and improving regulatory enforcement.

As of 26th February 2021, the ADVAIT portal has 37 GST reports, 20 Customs reports, and 3 Data Science models available. The Systems Directorate plans to add more reports and dashboards.

The foundation stone for the Central GST Bhavan in Boisar was laid on 27th February 2021, and a site visit was conducted for the proposed NACIN Academy at Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh.
