FAQ :
The DGTR's final findings concern "Hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) Component R-32" originating in or exported from China PR.
The DGTR concluded that the HFC R-32 was exported at dumped prices, causing material injury to the domestic industry, and there was a causal link between the dumping and the injury.
The DGTR recommended the imposition of definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of HFC R-32 from China to remove the injury to the domestic industry.
The anti-dumping duty was initially imposed by the Central Government on 21st December 2021.
Anti-dumping duties are imposed to remove injury to the domestic industry caused by the import of goods sold at unfairly low prices (dumping).
