G.S.R. (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 15 of the Central Excise Rules 2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 17/2007-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2007, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 146 (E) dated, the 1st March, 2007, namely:-

In the said notification, in para 1, against item (i), for the entry “Thirty thousand rupees”, the entry “Forty thousand rupees” shall be substituted.
