G.S.R. 409(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Finance Act, 2020 (12 of 2020) (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby appoints the 30th day of June, 2020, as the date on which the provisions of section 134 of the said Act, shall come into force.

FAQ :
The notification aims to bring Section 134 of the Finance Act, 2020 into force, which will amend Section 25 of the IGST Act.
Section 134 of the Finance Act, 2020, becomes effective from the 30th day of June, 2020.
Section 25 of the IGST Act is being amended as a result of this notification.
This notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
