RRA 2.0 stands for Regulations Review Authority 2.0, an initiative by the RBI to review and streamline existing regulations.
The purpose of this notification is to inform about the withdrawal of redundant circulars as part of the RRA 2.0's interim recommendations.
The circulars listed in the Annexure were withdrawn with effect from the close of business on November 16, 2021.
All Scheduled Commercial Banks (including Small Finance Banks and Payments Banks), Local Area Banks, and all Primary Urban Cooperative Banks are being notified.
The list of withdrawn circulars is provided in the Annexure to the notification.
