Subject:- Disposal of pending Form DVAT 04 & Form DVAT 07 applications: regarding
As you are aware, we have ushered into a new Tax regime with the roll out of GST which has taken effect from 1st July, 2017. It is quite appreciable that the Department is bracing itself for smooth sailing into of GST structure. In the given scenario, a more sagacious approach would be to clear the backlog of DVAT issues.
It has, however, come to the notice that some of the ward lncharges have still not disposed off their pendency of Form DVAT 04 & Form DVAT 07 applications, relating to Registration and amendments respectively.
Now, therefore, all the concerned ward lncharges are hereby directed to clear the backlog of all DVAT issues including that of Form DVAT 04 & Form DVAT 07 applications, relating to Registration and amendments respectively.
This issues with the approval of Commissioner,VAT.
