FAQ :

The NCLT is mandating the automatic generation of case numbers for all benches across the country.

Automatic case number generation will be mandatory from January 2021.

The automatic case numbers will be generated from the NCLT's e-filing portal, which can be accessed at efiling.nclt.gov.in.

This is part of the e-courts initiative to improve online infrastructure and make government services available electronically, aligning with the Digital India campaign.

All NCLT benches across the country that have implemented e-filing are required to start the automatic case number generation phase.
