G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act,1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 27/2011 Customs, dated the 1stMarch, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), videnumber G.S.R. 153(E), dated the 1stMarch, 2011, namely

FAQ :

The purpose of this notification is to make further amendments to existing Customs regulations, specifically modifying Notification No. 27/2011-Customs.

The amendments are made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962.

The original notification being amended is Notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated 1st March, 2011.

This notification has been issued by the Central Government, under the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue).

The Central Government is making these amendments because it is satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest to do so.
