   In line with Government's commitment to digitize the remaning services and to make it paperless, ICEGATE e-Payment Platform has been enabled with electronic collection of Voluntary/Self-Initiated Payments (SIP)

FAQ :

The notification announces the enablement of electronic collection of voluntary/self-initiated payments (SIP) on the ICEGATE e-Payment Platform.

This notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs) of the Government of India.

It has been introduced in line with the Government's commitment to digitise remaining services and make them paperless.

Voluntary Payment, also referred to as Self-Initiated Payment (SIP), means payments that are made by the taxpayer without being prompted by a specific demand or notice.
