EPFO has deployed an electronic facility on its Unified Portal for Principal Employers to view the EPF compliances of their contractors and contract workers.
EPFO registered employers who engage employees through contractors can use this facility. Principal Employers not registered with EPFO can register using their Income Tax TAN.
Principal Employers can view contractor details, contract amounts, tenure, UANs of contract employees, and employee-wise EPF remittances made by contractors for any wage month.
Yes, Principal Employers can view whether the employer's share of EPF contributions (13% of wages) paid by them has been remitted by the contractor for all contract workers.
