No, prior intimation is not required to claim the Special Cash Package, unlike the actual LTC Scheme.
Bills for availing the Special Cash Package must be submitted before 31st March 2021.
Yes, claims for the 2018-19 LTC block, which was extended until 31st December 2020, can be made before 31st March 2021.
The Special Cash Package is in lieu of pending LTC for the block between 2018 and 2021.
