CBIC : Amend Notification No. 63 of 2023 Customs

G.S.R. 872(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 22/2022-Customs, dated the 30th April, 2022, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 328(E), dated the 30th April, 2022, namely:-

In the said notification, in the TABLE I, after S. No. 1271 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-

FAQ :

The purpose of this notification is to make further amendments to Customs Notification No. 22/2022-Customs, specifically by adding new entries.

Customs Notification No. 63 of 2023 has been amended.

A new serial number, 1271A, and its associated entries have been inserted into TABLE I of the notification.

The new entry 1271A covers 'All goods' under the tariff item 2207 10 12.

The amendment was made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962.
