The anti-dumping duty on Dimethylacetamide affects imports originating in or exported from China PR and Turkey.

A mid-term review has recommended that specific technical specifications of Dimethylacetamide (DMAC), when used in spandex yarn manufacturing, be excluded from the anti-dumping duty.

The excluded DMAC must have a minimum purity of 99.9%, maximum alkalinity of 0.003%, maximum acidity of 0.005%, maximum iron content of 0.05 ppm, maximum water content of 0.01% (or 100 PPM), and maximum conductivity of 0.1 micro-siemens/cm.

The excluded Dimethylacetamide is specifically for consumption in spandex yarn manufacturing.
