Announcement-Difficulties in getting admission for 100 Hours

Last updated: 22 March 2008

We are getting representations from students expressing difficulties in getting registration for undergoing 100 Hours IT Training at Branch/DCO IT Centres. In this regard, it has been decided to enroll students according to following preferences to enable the students to undergo the training without difficulties:
  • Since the capacity is limited, preference will be given to those students who have passed the PE-II Examination and are waiting to register for article ship. Such students are required to undergo 100 Hours ITT immediately before they can register for article ship. Students have to ensure that they have registered for 100 Hours ITT with the ICAI by paying registration fee of Rs. 2,000 before approaching Branch/DCO IT Centres.

  • Registration for all those students of PCC and PE-II students, who are going to appear for PCC/PE-II Examination in May, 2008 will be done on next priority.

  • Registration for all other students of PCC who are going to appear for PCC Examination in Nov 2008 will be done based on the availability of seats.

In case a student falling under the first two categories is facing difficulty in getting registration for 100 Hours ITT, he/she can inform Board of Studies at psdos@icai.org, cctnoida@icai.org or the concerned Regional Office. Such cases will be addressed on a priority basis.
