OTIFICATION NO. 63/2008, DT. 21/11/2008 Amendments in Schedule-I (Imports) of the ITC(HS) Classifications (7208) S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy – 2004-09, the Central Government hereby amends Schedule – I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 2004-09 as under: 1. Import policy for the item “Hot Rolled Coils” under 4 digit Exim Code “7208” will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”). 2. Import policy for the following Exim Codes will be amended to read as “Restricted” (instead of “Free”) : “7326 90 99; 8483 10 99; 8708 10 90.” 3. This issues in public interest. Sd/- (R.S.
