Subject: Amendment in Para 2.60 of Handbook of Procedure, 2015-2020.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of Foreign Trade Policy, 20152020 read with Paragraph 2.04 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby replaces the existing Para 2.60 of the Handbook of Procedure (2015-20) on Procedure for Import under the Tariff Rate Quota Scheme. The revised para is as follows:
Para 2.60: Procedure for Import under the Tariff Rate Quota Scheme
Imports under the Tariff Rate Quota Scheme is governed as per the Customs Notification No. 28/2020-Customs dated 23.06.2020 of Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India as amended from time to time.
2. Effect of the Public Notice: Paragraph 2.60 of Handbook of Procedure, 2015-2020 is replaced to update the latest Customs Notification governing imports under Tariff Rate Quota Scheme.
