Views and Suggestions on the Direct Taxes Code Bill, 2010
Sub: The Direct Tax Code Bill, 2010 – Formulation of Institute’s views for submission to the Hon’ble Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance
As you are aware, the Direct Tax Code Bill, 2010 was introduced in Lok Sabha on 30th August, 2010. The Hon’ble Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance is examining the said Bill. The Lok Sabha Secretariat has invited the Institute to submit its views on the clauses of the Bill in the form of a memorandum for consideration of the Hon’ble Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance latest by 25th October,2010 .
We request you to send us your valuable views and suggestions on the Direct Tax Code Bill, 2010 latest by 14th October, 2010 so that the same may be compiled and included appropriately in the memorandum to be submitted to the Hon’ble Parliamentary Standing Committee.
A copy of the Direct Tax Code Bill, 2010 is attached for your ready reference. Text of the Bill is also available at the website of Lok Sabha viz. www.loksabha.nic.in .
