The objectives of ADVAIT are to enhance indirect tax revenue, increase the taxpayer base, and support data-driven tax policy.

In Direct Taxes, AI/ML is used to identify high-risk tax evasion cases, send reminders for advance tax payments, prompt taxpayers about ITR mismatches, and analyse taxpayer networks to flag potential high-risk transactions.
