The special camps are organised to raise public awareness about unclaimed deposits, shares, dividends, insurance policies, and provident fund amounts held in various banks and financial institutions, and to assist rightful claimants in retrieving them.
In Mumbai City, the camp is at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Nariman Point on November 21st at 3:00 PM. For Mumbai Suburban, it's at Uttar Bhartiya Sangh, Bandra East on November 21st at 11:00 AM.
Services include information and verification of unclaimed accounts, guidance on the claims process and necessary documents, direct interaction with bank officials, and assistance in checking for unclaimed property online.
Senior officials from the banking sector, representatives from the district administration, and officials from other concerned institutions will be present to provide guidance.
Participants should bring their Aadhaar Card/PAN Card, bank passbook or account details, Fixed Deposit receipts/certificates (if applicable), and death certificate/inheritance documents if claiming as a legal heir.
