Overview
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) officially declared the CA Final May 2026 results on 18th June 2026. A total of 7,931 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants in this attempt. Group I saw 54,606 candidates appear, out of which only 6,555 cleared, translating to a pass percentage of 12%, the toughest of the three categories. Group II was relatively more lenient, with 8,725 out of 42,573 candidates passing at 20.49%. For those who appeared in Both Groups simultaneously, 3,345 out of 23,776 candidates made it through, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.07%.
Topping the merit list with an outstanding Grand Total of 499 out of 500 is Noor Singla (Roll No. 165939), securing the All India Rank 1. He scored 250 in Group I with 87 in Financial Reporting, 83 in Advanced Financial Management and 80 in Advanced Auditing and 249 in Group II, scoring 81 in Direct Tax Laws, 87 in Indirect Tax Laws and 81 in Integrated Business Solutions. A near-perfect score that sets a remarkable benchmark.
Ritij Saraf (Roll No. 149952) secured AIR 2 with a Grand Total of 475, scoring 235 in Group I and 240 in Group II. His strongest subject was Financial Reporting, where he scored 89, the highest single-subject score among the top three rankers.
Sohan Anil Manjrekar (Roll No. 178182) claimed AIR 3 with a Grand Total of 473, scoring 246 in Group I and 227 in Group II. He showed particular strength in Financial Reporting (85) and Advanced Financial Management (83), while scoring 68 in Integrated Business Solutions, the same as AIR 2's lowest subject score.
Overall, the May 2026 attempt reinforced that Financial Reporting and Indirect Tax Laws tend to be scoring subjects among toppers, while Integrated Business Solutions appeared comparatively challenging even for the best performers.
