The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has announced an extension for filing certain Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) statements. The deadline for submitting TDS/TCS statements in Form Nos. 26Q, 27Q, and 27EQ for the first quarter of the financial year 2023-24 has now been moved to 30th September 2023. This extension provides additional time for taxpayers to complete their compliance requirements.
