The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued various General Circulars (the last being Circular No. 57/2011 dated 28th July 2011) mandating certain class of companies to file, on or before 30th November 2011, their balance sheets & profit and loss account in respect of financial statements closing on or after 31.03.2011 by using XBRL taxonomy.
The Manual for filing financial statements in XBRL form in MCA21 system is given at the XBRL section of the MCA portal.
MCA has also clarified that the verification and certification of the XBRL document of financial statements on the e-forms would continue to be done by authorized signatory of the company as well as professionals like Company Secretary in whole-time practice.
Considering all the above, ICSI-CCGRT is organising this program particularly for the benefit of its Members, to acquaint them with the intricacies and practical aspects involved in XBRL filing.
