Eligible individuals can claim a one-time lump sum payment, a monthly top-up amount calculated based on specific formulas, and arrears with simple interest at PPF rates.
Yes, the UPS benefits are over and above the NPS benefits already claimed by the subscribers.
Benefits can be claimed either physically by visiting the DDO and submitting the relevant form (B2 for subscriber, B4/B6 for spouse) or online through the NPSCRA website.
