It is the 24th annual publication by the Reserve Bank of India that disseminates time series data on major economic and financial indicators relating to the Indian economy.
The handbook contains 237 statistical tables covering national income aggregates, output, prices, money, banking, financial markets, public finances, foreign trade and balance of payments, as well as select socio-economic indicators.
Longer time-series data on these variables are available on the Reserve Bank's Data Warehouse portal, "Database on Indian Economy (DBIE)".
