FAQ :
These are consolidated directions that bring together various previous regulatory instructions on digital lending by Regulated Entities (REs).
The Directions include new instructions on transparency in aggregating loan products from multiple lenders and the operationalisation of a Public Directory of Digital Lending Apps (DLAs).
Regulated Entities (REs) must submit details of their DLAs via the RBI's Centralised Information Management System (CIMS) portal. The list of DLAs will be available on the RBI website based on this submitted data.
The CIMS portal will be available for REs to report their DLA details on or before May 13, 2025.
REs have until June 15, 2025, to upload their initial data regarding their Digital Lending Apps.
The list of DLAs will be made available on the RBI website on or before July 1, 2025, to help customers verify a DLA's association with a Regulated Entity.
