For the old syllabus, the pass rate for Group I was 26.94%, for Group II it was 23.09%, and for candidates appearing in both groups, the pass rate was 10.19%.
Under the new syllabus, the pass rate for Group I was 17.34%, for Group II it was 28.15%, and for candidates appearing in both groups, the pass rate was 15.12%.
A total of 9,446 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants under the old syllabus.
A total of 5,125 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants under the new syllabus.
Group I of the old syllabus had the highest pass percentage at 26.94%.
Group II of the new syllabus had the highest pass percentage at 28.15%.
