The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Arun Ramanathan, IAS (TN:73) presently Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, in the vacancy of Shri Vinod Rai IAS (KL:72) with immediate effect.
