Shri Anil Murarka has been elected as the new President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, w.e.f 19th January, 2011. Earlier he was the Vice-President of ICSI for the year 2010. Shri Murarka has also been re-elected to the Central Council of ICSI for the term 2011-2014.
Shri Nesar Ahmad has been elected as the Vice- President of the Institute. He has also been re-elected to the Central Council of ICSI for the term 2011-2014. Shri Ahmad had been the Chairman of Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) at New Delhi.
