The most common types filed are ITR1 (2.5 crore) and ITR4 (1.17 crore), making up a significant percentage of the total filings for AY 2021-22.
Out of the 3.91 crore verified returns, more than 3.35 crore have been verified using Aadhaar-based OTP.
Over 1.07 crore refunds for AY 2021-22 have been issued.
