The deadline for linking your Permanent Account Number (PAN) with your Aadhaar has been extended to 30th June 2023. This gives taxpayers more time to link their details without facing penalties. After this new deadline, PANs that remain unlinked will become inoperative, meaning you won't receive refunds, interest on refunds, and will face higher Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) rates.
