The Income Tax Department has released the latest versions of Income Tax Return (ITR) utilities for Assessment Year (AY) 2025-26 on October 2, 2025. The updates include new versions of ITR-5 and ITR-6, enhancing functionality and ensuring compatibility with the latest reporting and validation requirements under the Income-tax Act, 1961.
