Examination centres are located outside containment zones and have increased staff and sanitisation facilities.
The number of examination centres has been significantly increased from 172 in December 2019 to 262 for the December 2020 session to ensure adequate social distancing. New centres have been opened in various cities, and major cities have been divided into zones to minimise travel distance and overcrowding.
ICSI extended deadlines for exam fee submission, waived late fees, re-opened the online window for form submission, and allowed candidates to carry forward examination fees and benefits from the June 2020 session to the December 2020 session.
Candidates who test positive for COVID-19 (self or immediate relative) between 20th November and 30th December 2020 can request to opt-out. This allows them to carry forward all benefits to the June 2021 examinations without additional fees.
Yes, an additional attempt has been granted under the 2012 Old Syllabus for Executive & Professional Program students for the June 2021 session. Candidates enrolled for the December 2020 exams were also given the opportunity to appear under their old syllabus.
