FAQ :

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is clarifying the details and eligibility criteria for the 'Opt-Out Facility' for students.

Students are eligible for the opt-out/partial opt-out option as per the Institute's announcement dated 20th December 2020, unless they have appeared in all papers for all modules they are enrolled in.

The Opt-Out Facility was initially announced for the exam session from December 2020 to June 2021.

If a student is enrolled in two modules and appeared for all papers in one module, they are eligible to opt-out for the other module (in which they haven't appeared) or for both modules.

A student who has appeared in all papers for all the modules for which they are enrolled is not eligible for the Opt-Out Facility.

Yes, if a student has not appeared in all papers of a module or has appeared in only a few papers without completing the entire module, they are eligible to opt-out.
