FAQ :
The deadline for completing CEP Credit Hours for the renewal of the Certificate of Practice (COP) for the year 2021-2022 has been extended to May 31, 2021.
This extension is for members of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) who hold a Certificate of Practice (COP) and need to renew it for the 2021-2022 year.
Members holding a COP must complete a minimum of 15 hours of training annually (April 1 to March 31) and 50 hours in a 3-year block. For members over 65, the requirement is 7 hours annually and 25 hours in a 3-year block.
The extension aims to prevent hardship for members whose COP renewal for 2021-22 might be impacted by a shortfall in CEP hours.
Members are required to inform ICMAI whether these CEP hours should be credited towards the 2020-21 or the 2021-22 compliance year.
